Some of the plants native to Colorado: Penstemon, Scarlet Bugler, Indian Paintbrush, Columbine, Mariposa Lilies, Lady Slippers, Wood Lilies, Yuccas, Colorado Iris, Rabbit brush and Sage Lupine. Two kinds of Yucca: the Banana Leaf Yucca - Yucca Baccata, (Has broad, stiff "leaves." It's a striking but sharp plant - Watch out for the tips) and Needle Leaf Yucca (smaller with needle like spires) To name just a few!
